MULTIPLE AUDITIONS SCHEDULED FOR JUNE
Saint John Theatre Company Looking for Actors & Dancers!
June is a busy month for the Saint John Theatre Company! In addition to other events, the Company is holding three sets of auditions between now and July 1st.
Auditions for the SJTC: Studio production of David Mamet’s “Glengarry Glen Ross” will be held Saturday, June 17 at 10 am and Tuesday, June 20 at 7 pm at the SJTC Loft, 86 Prince William Street, 4th Floor. The production runs from September 21-23 and will be directed by Jay Rawding. Preference will be given to actors with prior stage experience; however this is not a requirement of auditioning.
Dance and acting auditions for the 2006 Theatre on the Edge Festival (a SJTC: Second Stage Production) will take place on Sunday, June 25 at 1 pm and Monday, June 26 at 7 pm at the SJTC Loft, 86 Prince William Street, 4th Floor. The Festival runs August 14-18. Dancers are needed for the first-ever Dance Collective performance piece and actors are needed for an evening of one-act plays. This is a GREAT summertime activity to get involved in, and a LOT of fun! Please note that anyone wishing to audition must be 19 years of age or older. No acting or dance experience is necessary.
And last but certainly not least, auditions for the SJTC: Main Stage production of the hilarious comedy “Noises Off” will be held Wednesday, June 28 at 7 pm, Thursday, June 29 at 7 pm, and Saturday, July 1 at 1 pm at the SJTC Loft, 86 Prince William Street, 4th Floor. Described as "the funniest play ever written", “Noises Off” directed by Bob Doherty, will run from November 16-18 at Imperial Theatre. There are 9 roles to be filled, ranging in age from 20's to 70's.

The Saint John Theatre Company is a community based, not for profit organization. The members of the Board of Directors, its actors and production crews are volunteers. 2006/2007 marks their 16th year in the community!
