BACKSTAGE BARBEQUE & BAZAAR IS BACK
And We Need Your Help!!

Don’t throw that old lamp away!  It could be worth money for the Saint John Theatre Company!  The Backstage Barbeque & Bazaar is back as a summer fundraiser for the Saint John Theatre Company.  The event will be held Sunday, August 22, 2004.
 
Here’s how YOU can help:
 
Collect any used or unwanted items from your garage, attic, closets, etc.  Big sellers include children’s toys and games, appliances that power up, hardware items, and books.  No clothing please.
 
Drop off your items anytime between Saturday, August 14th and Saturday, August 21st at Ricky’s Mall at 511 Somerset Street (please ask at Ricky’s for the exact drop-off spot).
 
We need volunteers to help out in the following areas - Pricing Crew to price and organize the items on Saturday, August 21st; Salespeople to bargain and negotiate on the day of the event; Barbeque Chefs to flip burgers etc.; Set-Up Crew to set up tables and decorations early in the morning; and the Entertainment Crew to organize live music, face-painting, games, etc.
 
As you can see, it’s a pretty big event requiring a lot of people, so please call Niki or Angela at 634-1990 to sign up for one of the crews or send us an email to stage@sjtconline.com.  Even if you can only spare a few hours on the day of the event - -CALL!
