The project involves three major initiatives: 

1)  Development of a facility in uptown Saint John which will house multiple rehearsal and training rooms, administrative offices, construction workshop and storage with access to a loading bay.

2)  Establishment of formal training programs for theatre students of all ages in all theatre disciplines including performance, play-writing, and technical production.  The training programs will be for children, college students and adults.  The instructors will be theatre professionals.

3)  Establishment of operational stability and new revenue streams for the SJTC which will draw new volunteers and supporters as well as increase the profile of the SJTC.

 The development of a suitable facility to support the strategic direction of the Saint John Theatre Company is a critical success factor for the continuing success of SJTC and the growth of Arts and Culture in Saint John.
